Apply for a Village Pottery Studio Membership

Independent studio access for experienced potters.

About Studio Membership

Village Pottery Studio membership is designed for potters who are comfortable working independently. Membership does not include classes, private instruction, or ongoing assistance with projects.

Approved members will have access to the studio's pottery equipment, tools, glazes, workspace, and other shared resources during designated member hours.

Members also receive firing of their work at no additional charge, subject to studio firing guidelines, clay compatibility, kiln capacity, and approved size limits.

September Memberships

Memberships begin September 15, 2026, and only 9 spots are available. Membership is $250 per month, or commit to three months for $600 total ($300 up front and $300 during the second month) and save $150. Clay is purchased separately — White Cone 6 Stoneware, $35 per 25 lb. bag. Applications are reviewed and memberships are subject to acceptance.

Important Kiln Update

The studio opens August 1, and our kiln has been delayed. It is expected to arrive in mid-September. Members may begin using the studio and creating work during this opening period, but firing services will not begin until the kiln is installed and operational.

Pieces created during this opening-period firing delay may be stored at the studio and added to the firing schedule once firing begins. Membership benefits will still include firing at no additional charge after the kiln becomes operational.
