A studio shaped by community.

Our Story

I grew up in Minas Gerais, Brazil, where I was fortunate enough to experience the gift of a close community. I learned from the way my neighbors showed up for each other, but especially from how they would pause anything to acknowledge another person, even a stranger passing through.

That kind of solidarity and kindness left a mark on me. When I moved to the United States for college, those same values were reinforced through the friends and mentors who made room for me. Village Pottery Studio is my attempt to give that gift back.

I've seen this happen in the small moments, a hand-thrown mug shared over coffee with a friend, a serving bowl that turns a Tuesday meal into a small celebration, or the quiet camaraderie of learning beside someone else in a studio.

My hope is that you don't leave here feeling like you simply received great customer service. I want you to feel part of the community. That's the gift I was given and it's the one I want to offer here in Branson.
